Craig L. Stout

The impetus and initial funding for the Arminius Foundation comes from Craig Stout, a 1966 graduate of Shaker Heights High School. Mr. Stout is a father of 3 Shaker graduates, the son a retired Shaker teacher (Audrey Stout), and currently a Trustee of the Shaker Schools Foundation, a non-profit group that raises private funds for various programs in the Shaker public schools. Mr. Stout is now partially retired from several insurance concerns based in Cleveland which he helped to form during the 1980's and 1990's. He is a 1970 graduate of Williams College, a 1976 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law.

John Lewis

Providing technical guidance for the Foundation, is John Lewis, also Shaker '66, who resides in Acton, Massachusetts. Mr. Lewis is a mathematician for Autodesk, a major software development company in San Rafael, California. He was graduated from Dartmouth College in 1970 with a degree in Mathematics and from Yale University with a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

Frederick N. Widen

A partner in the Cleveland law firm of Ulmer Berne LLP, Fred Widen is a long-time Shaker resident and father of five Shaker students/graduates. A published author and recipient of numerous professional distinctions, Mr. Widen's practice specialties and clientele include both charitable foundations and information technology concerns. He is a 1975 graduate of Cleveland State University and a 1981 graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (magna cum laude).
